I believe in a wholesome approach to taking care of your body and mind in order to stay healthy and vital.

A safe and consistent yoga practice helps you work on alignment, gain strength and develop flexibility.

The physical body affects our well-being and state of mind, the same way that our emotional and mental health has a large effect on the way we feel in our bodies.

Every session is designed and adjusted for your personal goals and limitations. Whether your body is stiff or hyperextended, yoga is for you.

Together we will explore your physical, mental and spiritual connection, helping you becoming more in tune with your body. As we continue to build upon each session, our practice will ultimately lead us to a place of self-healing.

Breathe

Pranayama (breath control) trains us to breathe consciously, with awareness, and with intent. It helps us to build our ability to focus during yoga or any other activity.

In today’s busy world with our attention spans that keeps decreasing, we are constantly shifting our awareness from one thing to the next. When we practice breathing techniques, we activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which slows down the heart rate and lowers blood pressure. This naturally creates a feeling of calm that increases our ability to focus.

Research shows it helps treat depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), improves lung capacity, strengthens the diaphragm, and even promotes longevity.

Learning simple yet profound breathing techniques helps us find and navigate self-healing of our body and mind. For many, it is a tool for healing the mental and emotional state, which ultimately heals the body.

As we gain strength and control over our body, we become more aware of the emotional turbulence in the mind. This enables us to access the burials, grudges, and traumas within us, and then release their grip on our mental state.

The breath also can help us connect on the core level, to minimize the ego and shine light on the true inner self the infinite power within.

Meditation

The practice of focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity to train awareness in order to achieve a mentally and emotionally calm and stable state. Meditation sharpens the mind by gaining focus and expansion through relaxation.

Meditation makes you aware - that your inner world determines your happiness.

Though it may feel and be described differently from one seeker to another, most agree that it’s over all benefits reduce stress and anxiety, improve overall health, attention span, memory, and sleep.

It’s a spiritual practice that does not interfere with any form of religion or belief system. Meditation is about self-exploration and experiencing for yourself the universal wisdom and connection to the source.

As you discover more about yourself, you begin true personal and transformational growth.
